John,

A local church leader in Nigeria describes the situation as "a church under Islamist extermination."

Just last month, 15 Christians were slaughtered in a nighttime attack as families went to bed – ending a summer of devastation. Fleeing victims were shot. Pastors kidnapped – some killed – some whereabouts are unknown.

The summer began with a June massacre of 200 believers when infants, toddlers, and the elderly were murdered and thrown into fires. Here's the big picture: 35 Nigerian Christians are executed every day by Islamic radicals.

That's 7,000 believers martyred every year for their faith in Nigeria alone. Violence is unchecked.

Even liberal atheist Bill Maher calls it genocide against Christians. But most of the world is silent. We will not be.

Last week, we delivered an oral intervention at the U.N. Human Rights Council on behalf of persecuted Christians in Nigeria. We are continuing to exert pressure on Nigeria's president to protect Christians. Nigeria's president must prove he is not complicit in the killing, WITH action.

But this is where we need you.

God has called us to defend Christians, whether they are on death row unjustly or facing massacre. But this vital work requires significant resources. Donate today to defend dying Christians.

Nigerian Christians are being slaughtered while their government looks the other way. This evil must be met by action.

Millions of students gathered nationwide last week for the 35th annual See You at the Pole, boldly praying for their schools and our nation. Our landmark Supreme Court victory 35 years ago in Mergens helped pave the way for vital prayer events in our schools.

The ACLJ stands with students and teachers, including a current case where our teacher client was banned from praying anywhere on school grounds. We will continue defending religious liberty, so no American must bury their Christianity.

Our client was twice arrested – simply for helping carry a cross – after the DA retaliated against his church's lawful protest of the arrest. This abuse of power threatens religious liberty, so we're in court defending him, but we need your support to fight back.
