Let me explain why tonight’s FEC deadline is so critical, John.
At midnight, my campaign finance report closes for the quarter. That means every dollar raised becomes public – reporters, analysts, and Republicans alike will scour the numbers to judge the strength of our campaign.
If I fall short, Republicans will take it as a green light to flood CA-45 with even more outside money. But, if we show strong grassroots support, it sends a very different message: that this seat isn’t going anywhere.
