John,
We’re staring down our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline at midnight tonight, and I’m asking you to be part of this grassroots push.
Here’s why it matters so much.
Ken Paxton and Texas Republicans are doing everything they can to cling to power. They’ve gerrymandered our maps—again. They’ve made it harder for people to vote. They’ve wasted taxpayer dollars dragging us into court with one baseless stunt after another.
And at every turn, they’ve shown us that they’ll put their own grip on power above what’s best for the people of Texas.
But I believe in us—in the people of Texas coming together to do something bigger and better than the corruption and extremism that Paxton represents.
That’s what we’re building through Powered by People. We’ve registered tens of thousands of new voters. We’ve hosted town halls in places that politicians have ignored for too long. We’ve trained volunteers, organized communities, and proven that when everyday Texans step up, we can change the outcome of elections—and the future of our state.
This work doesn’t happen because a few billionaires write big checks. It happens because people like you chip in $5, $10, or whatever they can afford, and then give their time and energy to bring others into the fight. It happens because we believe in each other, and because we’re willing to work for the Texas we deserve.
But to keep this work going strong—to fight back against Paxton’s attacks and make sure we’re reaching as many voters as possible—we have to hit our fundraising goal before midnight tonight.
