Friend, I'm sorry to email you so late, but I'm still hard at work trying to get Republicans to work with us to keep the government open and prevent Americans' health care premiums from skyrocketing, and my team just let me know we're still $6,819 short of our critical end-of-quarter goal. 

To be completely honest, this would be a really terrible time to fall short. Republicans have engineered a health care crisis, and they'd rather shut down the government than compromise with Democrats who are trying to solve it.

We need a SURGE of grassroots resources if we're going to hold them accountable and work to flip the Senate blue next November. That's why I'm urgently asking: Will you please rush $5, or anything at all, to close the gap on our $30,000 goal before the FEC's quarterly deadline at midnight?
