John,
I think we can all agree, the past few weeks have been a lot. Trump and his allies are silencing free speech, suppressing votes, and trying to wear us down.
But Emerge women are showing up anyway. They’re running for office, defending their communities, and fighting for democracy. Even when it’s hard. Even when it’s risky.
Every year, I call our alums, whether they win or lose. I hear their stories, their gratitude, and the resilience that keeps them going. They tell me, “thank you for seeing me.” That simple recognition — seeing these women, believing in them, making space for them — is what fuels the next generation of leaders.
Right now, we’re recruiting the next wave of women ready to step into office. Every alum we train today is one more fighter, one more leader, one more voice that can’t be ignored.
We’ve trained over 6,500 women, with more than 1,200 currently in office. And every day, we’re building the network that keeps growing: women of the New American Majority stepping up to lead where it matters most.
Here’s the truth: if we fall short of our September fundraising goal, we may have to scale back. That means fewer women trained, fewer leaders ready, and fewer victories at a moment when we need them most. Can you chip in $25 before midnight to help us train more women to run, win, and lead?
Together, we can turn our exhaustion into energy, our anger into action, and our hope into recruiting and training the women leaders this country needs now more than ever.
Thank you for standing with us,
A’shanti F. Gholar
President & CEO, Emerge
