We know what furloughs mean for our families. But we also know that all of us are facing skyrocketing healthcare premiums, rural hospitals at risk, Medicaid being ripped away from disabled Americans, nursing home coverage lost — and all because Republicans prefer to give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations instead of showing up for regular people.
