Over the past few weeks, I’ve held a town hall, met with nonprofit leaders and constituents, and even gotten a chance to read to children! Having conversations with Granite Staters about their concerns -- from the need to take action on gun violence in our country to how we can ensure affordable healthcare for all of us -- better informs the work I’m doing in Washington to serve you. It’s been wonderful to visit with people in district, and I look forward to continuing being accessible to the people I get to represent.

Right now at Team Pappas we’re chugging along to hit this week’s fundraising goal. August is notoriously bad for fundraising with families away on vacation and enjoying the fleeting days of summer. If you’re reading this email, THANK YOU!

Our team is still about $688 short of tonight’s goal, and I’m hoping I can count on you to help us hit our goal and defend this swing seat in 2020. The 1st District has flipped four times in the last five elections! Will you pitch in $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can to close this gap?
