My mission has always been to keep our communities safe without compromising on our freedoms. I’ve served as a prosecutor for nearly 30 years and have never backed down from a tough fight.
But JOhn, in the last year we’ve seen growing threats from political extremists who put ideology over common sense and seem dead set on undermining our freedoms and weakening our institutions. We’re seeing an unprecedented shift away from the rule of law because of leaders who believe they are above it.
Our leaders in Congress are not fighting for us. They are letting partisan politics get in the way of keeping our communities safe, lowering healthcare costs, and making sure everyone can put food on the table. It’s time for change.
I’m entering this race with the experience of winning both cases and elections. I’m the only candidate who’s proven I can win tough races by bringing together Democrats, Independents, and even some Republicans, and the only one with a record of successfully prosecuting hundreds of cases.
