Tonight at MIDNIGHT marks the end of CVPA's fiscal year. And, I have to be candid, I’m feeling the pressure of closing out strong.
The Trump administration is throwing out science, silencing experts, and reversing rules on the Federal level that have kept our water and air safer, and we must fight what’s coming out of DC, pass our legislative priorities, and drive record turnout to the polls this November.
But that means we need to double down on our community organizing, outreach to state elected officials, and member education and advocacy.

With your support, our Government Affairs team will advance policies that: ✅ Strengthen Pennsylvania’s clean energy economy — through bills like HB 501, which would put us on track to generate 35% clean energy by 2035, and HB 894, which creates pathways for veterans to build new skills and careers in clean energy.
✅ Ensure every community has access to clean air, water, and land — like HB 109, which gives environmental justice areas better tools to stop new sources of pollution, and HB 759, which will replace kid's school water fountains with lead-filtering units.
✅ Protect our environment by preserving our democracy — like HB 1396, which will expand early voting and create same-day voter registration in PA.
Every gift helps us knock one more door, make one more call, and build our power to fight back against polluters and politicians who put profits before Pennsylvanians.
