Happy 4th of July, friend.

This year’s holiday definitely looks different. As we celebrate, we must remember our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t over. I’m sure you’re getting creative with new ways to celebrate the holiday safely.

With everything going on, today is also a great reminder that change and progress aren’t easy. But these are fights worth having, and I know our country can live up to its potential if we continue to strive for it.

And that’s what we’re going to do because we’re fighters.

We’re going to fight through the pandemic. We're going to keep fighting for racial justice. And we’re going to keep fighting to make progress for working families, ranchers, farmers, and teachers in the Central Valley and beyond.

I pledge to continue the fight for progress as long as I have the opportunity to serve you in Congress.
