John,
House Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to listen to the will of Arizonans and seat a newly elected member of Congress, all to help abusers avoid accountability when it comes to the Epstein files.
Let me explain.
Five days ago, after Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva won her special election in Arizona’s 7th District, I was the first to urge the Speaker to seat her without delay.
She would be the deciding signature on the discharge petition to release the Epstein files, but Mike Johnson and Republican leadership are blocking her swearing in and rejecting the will of Arizona voters, all to assist in the Trump administration’s cover-up of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuses.
This anti-democratic move is keeping Arizonans from being fully represented in Congress. Pitch in right now to help us stand up to this injustice and fight for our democracy.

Earlier this year, Speaker Johnson swore in two Republican members less than 24 hours after their special elections. Now, Republicans are sending our government careening toward a shutdown, and delaying southern Arizonans their representation.
This is ridiculous; we cannot stand for it.
