Hi, it’s Philadelphia District Attorney, Larry Krasner. 

This is it. The final end-of-quarter deadline before Election Day. At midnight, our Q3 fundraising window closes, and we need to raise $10,000 to stay on track.

Why does it matter? Because Donald Trump has made it clear what he wants: to rule by fear, to rewrite history, to crush dissent with troops in American cities. He’s already tried to erase slavery from exhibits at Independence Hall. He’s threatened to send the National Guard into Philadelphia.

That’s not “law and order.” That’s authoritarianism. And if he tries to f*** around in Philly, he’ll find out what happens when you attack democracy in its birthplace.

I believe in a different vision: a city where people are safe because their rights are respected, not violated. A justice system that protects the vulnerable instead of targeting them. A government that answers to the people, not to an aspiring dictator.
