I wanted to wish you a happy and healthy Fourth of July today, a day to honor the best of America and everything that it can encompass!

Since the country’s founding, we have tried to build a nation where everyone is entitled to liberty and justice, and that all starts with a free and fair democracy.

So, as Americans, we should all be fighting fiercely for the voting rights of every citizen — especially in such a pivotal election year, the voice of the people must be heard.

I am eager to continue standing with you in this fight for clean elections and fair voting, but for now, I hope you take some time today and this weekend to celebrate everything that this country can be when we work together.
