John, I don’t like to slide into your inbox just to ask for money. You’re not an ATM, and I don’t take your support for granted. When I do ask, it’s because I’m racing against a deadline — and tonight is an important one. Republicans will be looking at our fundraising totals at the end of the quarter to see if we have the momentum to win.
Unlike Donald Trump and my GOP opponent, we’re not sitting on a $600 million war chest from the last election that we can use to run ads, recruit volunteers, supply materials, and mobilize voters. We’re running this campaign the right way, and that means I rely on grassroots activists like you to fuel this campaign every step of the way — not MAGA extremists or far-right billionaires. If we hit our goal, this team will send a powerful message to Republicans: We’re ready to put up a fight, and we’re ready to WIN. There’s a lot at stake in the upcoming midterm elections: The future of our health care, our schools, our rights, and our communities. We need leaders who will put working families first. I’m prepared to take on Trump and his extremists in the Senate to root out the corruption and chaos that’s become all too common in Washington.
