Tomorrow at midnight, my campaign has to file its quarterly fundraising totals with the FEC.
These numbers will be publicly available, so the media, donors, allies, and opponents will see how our fundraising is going. These numbers will be seen as a sign of how strong our campaign is and whether we have the support needed to win this election.
I’ll be real: this deadline is critical, especially for a grassroots campaign like ours.
Other candidates in this race are happy to accept big checks from out-of-state donors and special interests. It’s certainly a way to raise huge amounts of money for your campaign.
I believe that Colorado’s Eighth Congressional District deserves better.
