While July 4th may look different this year, today we reflect on the progress our country has made and the long way we have left to go.
After 244 years, we have yet to achieve true equality for all Americans, but this dream for our nation is within reach. Under the right leadership, we have the potential to create a fairer and more just country for everyone.
Lastly, I hope that today finds you healthy and well. Remember that if you're celebrating with friends and loved ones to do so safely by wearing a mask and keeping a social distance.
