John, the United States’ great cities are falling apart. Violent crime is out
of control. Since January, there have been almost 300 homicides in Chicago, not
to mention the countless thefts, assaults, and other crimes.



And what do far-left mayors do? They blame Republicans and double down on
soft-on-crime and sanctuary policies that protect violent criminals.



Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson had the audacity to point the finger at red
states, all while letting thugs run the streets.

When liberal mayors refuse to protect their cities, the federal government
must step in. That’s why I fully support President Trump’s efforts to use the
National Guard to restore law and order.

* Overturning D.C.’s pro-crime bill, which lowered penalties for criminals.

* Voting to make assaulting a police officer a deportable offense.
While radical mayors shield criminals and undermine law enforcement, President
Trump and House Republicans are standing up for law-abiding families.
