Hi John,
I hope this finds you and your loved ones in good health and enjoying your Fourth of July holiday.
On Independence Day, we celebrate and reflect on the foundation of our great nation. On this date in 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed, marking the start of the greatest experiment in self government in history. We are one nation under God, made up of united, but independent states. We are bound together by our belief in the American Dream, that our country is the land of opportunity. And above all, we are blessed by the inalienable rights granted to us -- life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
I am proud to be an American and have the opportunity to represent the great people of Wyoming. As you celebrate today, I hope you will also take the time to thank and honor the brave men and women in uniform who have defended those very same freedoms at home and abroad. We are forever grateful for the bravery and sacrifice.
Happy 4th!
