I wanted to reach out and wish you a very Happy July 4th!

There is no doubt that this July 4th will be extremely different. As millions of people across the country celebrate this momentous day, it is more important than ever that we protect ourselves and our neighbors from the spread of COVID-19.

Believe me, I would love nothing more than to be marching in one of our annual parades with supporters, friends, neighbors, and family. But I know that the health of those around me is far more important.

Let's make sure we protect our friends, family, and neighbors by following CDC guidelines today and taking precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19.

More than ever, we need to make sure that we are doing everything in our power to keep our communities safe and healthy. It's our patriotic duty to stop the spread of this virus and save lives.

John, join me in putting on a mask when heading outside, practicing social distancing, and avoiding large gatherings today.
