Today we celebrate the hope and promise of America — a country dedicated to liberty and freedom.

Recent months have been difficult, but they remind us we’re strong. Throughout our history, we’ve come together and faced challenges. We’re a people of courage and determination going back to the very start of this great nation.

Join the VFW in expressing thanks for the service and sacrifice that make today possible. Please take a moment to honor veterans and all who are still serving so we can enjoy the independence our founding fathers fought so hard to establish.

We’re proud to call America home. And we’re grateful for patriotic friends like you, John, and for our heroes who have defended freedom and hope.
