[link removed] [[link removed]] Team, I was just interviewed live on MSNBC by Rachel Maddow about the Trump administration illegally leaking my unredacted military records to my opponent’s campaign.

Here’s what I told Rachel: the Ciattarelli campaign and the Trump administration did not make a “mistake.” This was intentional. This was another illegal step by Donald Trump and his allies to weaponize the federal government and go after Democrats they see as threatening.

And let’s be clear: Jack did worse than stand by silently. His team participated in this weaponization. And now Jack and his allies are spending huge sums of money to falsely smear not only me and my service record, but also my family.

As I told Rachel, if he’s doing this to me — a sitting member of Congress and a veteran — imagine what Jack Ciattarelli will do if he gets access to the private information of millions of New Jerseyans.

But listen, I’m running for governor because I can take this, without being intimidated or silenced.

I’m running because you deserve a governor who will tell Trump NO when he comes after the people of our state — who will fight back without fear when Trump targets your family, your freedoms, or your livelihood.

This race is a pure toss-up, and it’s clear that Donald Trump and Jack Ciattarelli will do ANYTHING to flip our state red.

But if we work as hard as we possibly can these next five weeks — if every member of this grassroots team gives it their all — we can beat them, and begin to turn the tide against their authoritarianism.
