Trafficking survivors are losing access to life-saving services.
We need YOUR HELP to save these services! ([link removed])
Over 100 victim services grants from the DOJ Office for Victims of Crime expire on September 30, 2025. OVC has not yet released the grant Notices of Funding (NOFOs) for FY25, which would begin on October 1, 2025.
Without these grants in place or contract extensions for existing grants, at least 3,000 survivors (both US citizens and non-citizens) may lose access to services.
Since it is likely that the NOFOs will not be released before the end of this fiscal year, the services gap may last for months.

House panel pushes Trump administration on combating human trafficking ([link removed])
Within hours of the Guardian working with FNUSA and our members to publish an investigation ([link removed]) on the cuts to services and the impact of the funding lapse, the House Foreign Affairs Committee acted.
The subcommittee passed a unanimous amendment to the Dept. of State's budget that would require additional congressional oversight of the government's efforts to combat trafficking.
This is a small, but important, win for trafficking survivors.
