In the T.S. Elliott's poem The Hollow Men he writes, “This is the way the world ends, Not with a bang but a whimper.” 

This could be the way that Democratic party goes out too. Not in a blaze of glory but with a whimper in a sleepy and typically overlooked State Supreme Court Race. 

The race is the upcoming November 2025 Pennsylvania Supreme Court Election and since this court has the final say on voter suppression and on election outcomes, if Democrats lose and Trump appoints new justices, we will lose Pennsylvania and its 19 electoral college votes for the next decade. 

Winning a Presidential will become all but impossible. Game over.

Assuming that this race would receive little attention like it typically does, Democrats paid little attention until MAGA launched an unprecedented surprise attack dumping tens of millions into the race overnight, rapidly seizing the lead. 

This is nothing short of the last stand of the Democratic Party and no one is talking about it. 

Defend our Courts is at the forefront of mounting the desperate defense of this key court but we are outnumbered and outgunned. We refuse to accept a defeat and we can still mount a come back but we need Democrats across the nation to wake up to this crisis. 

We will ask you to donate in a moment but if you can please post on social media about the stakes of this race and tell your friends and family about it IRL. If a critical mass of Democrats gets involved in this race like they did this past April for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court race we can comeback and win this.
