Dear A.,
Today, the United States
[link removed]
unveiled a new 20-point plan to end the conflict in Gaza, disarm Hamas and free the hostages.
This peace plan has the wide support of the United States, Israel, and several Arab countries and includes:
-
The release of all hostages within 72 hours.
-
The deradicalization of Gaza.
-
No Hamas role in governing Gaza, directly or indirectly.
-
The end of the war.
-
Safe passage abroad for Hamas members who surrender.
-
The gradual withdrawal of IDF troops from Gaza.
-
Increase in aid into Gaza.
-
A temporary transitional committee will govern day-to-day services in Gaza under international oversight.
-
An International Stabilization Force will deploy in Gaza to support long-term internal security.
-
An economic plan to rebuild Gaza.
You can read all 20 points of the plan

Now, the onus is on Hamas to agree to the plan, disarm and free the hostages who have been brutally held captive in violation of law and basic morality.
American and world leaders must now pressure Hamas to agree to the peace plan and adhere to its terms and implementation.
TAKE 45 SECONDS: Urge your members of Congress to publicly pressure Hamas to accept the deal and release the hostages.

ACT NOW
This plan is a direct byproduct of the tremendous progress of Israel’s military operation in Gaza to degrade Hamas’ capabilities. Congressional support for our democratic ally has been instrumental throughout this war, including by passing the largest military aid package in Israel’s history, and we applaud the Democrats and Republicans who have been consistent and unequivocal in their demands for Hamas to free the hostages and give up power in Gaza.

This is the fourth time Trump and Netanyahu have met at the White House since the president returned to office.
Following their meeting, they held a press conference, which you can watch below:

President Trump said, "Everybody who wants to see an end to the violence and destruction should be united in calling for Hamas to accept the extremely fair proposal so that we can end the war and get us back our hostages right now and have everlasting peace."
Prime Minister Netanyahu said that disarming Hamas "can be done the easy way, or it can be done the hard way, but it will be done. We prefer the easy way, but it has to be done."
AIPAC thanks President Trump for his ongoing strong support of our democratic ally Israel.
The United States must continue to stand with Israel as our ally works to end the threat from Hamas in Gaza and secure the release of all the hostages.

The IDF estimates that over 750,000 civilians have left Gaza City since the operation began, heeding Israel’s warnings to move to safer humanitarian zones outside the combat area.
U.N. reimposes snapback sanctions on Iran
On Saturday evening, the United Nations reimposed sanctions on Iran — the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism — concluding the snapback process that began last month.
"The Security Council’s decision… to restore these restrictions sends a clear message: the world will not acquiesce to threats and half measures – and Tehran will be held to account," Secretary of State Marco Rubio

said .
The sanctions target Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, and also include an arms embargo, travel bans, and a freeze on Iranian assets.
