John xxxxxx, I’ve got to
be honest.
This is the first office I was ever elected to, and frankly, it takes some
getting used to! I’m more comfortable in cargo shorts than a suit. And
while I can’t meet everyone who [ [link removed] ]donates to this campaign, I wanted to
share a bit more about myself.
As you may know, I first got my start by serving in the Army.
I was sent to military school when I was twelve. At the time, it was the
absolute last place I wanted to be. But getting my start in the military
taught me humility, teamwork, and the importance of serving others. And
even as I started my life of public service, I had no idea I would grow up
to be Maryland’s first Black governor.
Now, a lot has changed, but the important things have remained the same:
service, gratitude, and humility continue to be the foundation of
everything I do.
These principles are what keep me grounded as governor, and they’re the
foundation of everything we’re doing for Marylanders.

in $5 or any amount before our end-of-quarter deadline?
Your support will be crucial.

Now, I’m fighting for every Marylander to succeed and thrive. It may feel
like an uphill battle right now, but I know we can do this together.
To succeed I need support from folks like you who believe in our mission.
That’s why I’m asking:
[ [link removed] ]Will you make a donation of any amount before our end-of-quarter
deadline to help us out?
Elevate,
Wes
