From the beginning of our great nation, we have confronted many challenges. This year is no different. I hope we all make time this Independence Day to reflect on our founding principles and the freedoms that give our country the strength to overcome the trials we have faced, making the United States the greatest nation in the world.
Even though our independence has been challenged these last few months during the COVID-19 pandemic, let us all challenge ourselves to overcome the hardships we have experienced and work towards the great American recovery. I want to give a special thanks to all the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who have fought to preserve these incredible freedoms. Happy Independence Day!
