We had a busy summer here at Stand With Parkland, friend.

Thanks to the support of grassroots donors like you, we spent the last few months making an impact where it matters most — in front of educators, lawmakers, and school safety experts across the nation.

Here’s a snapshot of the work you’ve helped make possible:

August : Met with Fred Sellers, the Vice President for Safety and Emergency Operations for the North Carolina state university system, to discuss how to improve behavioral threat assessment programs at institutions of higher education around our nation.

July : Our president, Tony Montalto, addressed the Florida Universities and Colleges Threat Assessment & Management Workshop at the University of Florida, reaching attendees both in person and virtually.

June : We presented at the Monroe County School Safety and Threat Management Training — in Florida’s first Suicide Prevention Certified School District — in addition to presenting at the Florida School Safety Summit, which brings together mental health and school safety leaders.

May : Stand With Parkland members traveled to Washington, DC, and met directly with President Trump’s Domestic Policy Council, U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, Senator Ashley Moody, and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, among others, to advocate for bipartisan safety measures. We also spoke at the New England School Safety Conference in Massachusetts.

Every one of these opportunities was made possible by supporters like you.

But here’s the truth: We need your help.

Traveling to these events and far-flung locations to keep showing up in these critical rooms is vital. If we hope to make sure policymakers, educators, and communities hear the voices of families most impacted by tragedy, we need your continued support.

So we have to ask: Will you chip in $10 or more right now to help us continue sharing your voice and working toward solutions that keep your schools safe? [[link removed]]
