In 36 days, Pennsylvanians will vote on whether or not to keep the three Democratic State Supreme Court Justices who make up the Democratic majority of that court. 

Control of this court is life or death because whoever controls it has the final say on: redistricting, abortion, and the final say on election outcomes in Pennsylvania. 

MAGA is going all out and is on track to win this election. If they are successful, Democrats will have to write off Pennsylvania and its 19 electoral college votes until at least 2035 - the next time Pennsylvanian’s will have a chance to vote on these three court seats.

Pennsylvania is the keystone of the Democratic blue wall strategy for winning Presidential elections. In 2008, 2012, and 2020 the Blue wall held because Democrats won Pennsylvania. When Democrats lost Pennsylvania in 2016 and 2024 the Blue wall collapsed and Trump won.

When elections are close like they were in 2020 and 2024 it falls upon these judges to determine the winner. Whether we like it or not the three Democratic justices up for reelection issue fair and unbiased verdicts in 2020 calling the outcome for Biden and in 2024 for Trump. 

The people Trump wants to place on this critical court will not operate like that. They will use their positions to rubber stamp MAGA voter suppression efforts and will tip close elections in Trump’s favor. Losing this court means losing PA. 

Democrats are facing a full frontal assault here and we don’t know how much longer we can hold out. Unless we make a rapid course correction a catastrophic loss is exactly what we are on track for.
