** Dear friends,
------------------------------------------------------------

** As we take time to remember Charlie Kirk, a bold defender of faith, family, and freedom, I’m reminded that the strength of our values lies in how we live them out each day. His legacy challenges us to lead with clarity, conviction, and purpose.
------------------------------------------------------------

** With that in mind, I want to share a few important updates from both here at home and on the national stage:
------------------------------------------------------------

** Bringing Hoosier Values to Washington
------------------------------------------------------------

** In late August, I traveled to Washington, D.C. with fellow state leaders for a meeting at the White House. Our conversation with Vice President J.D. Vance focused on issues that matter deeply to many of us in Indiana: SCHOOL CHOICE, ELECTION INTEGRITY & THE IMPORTANCE OF STRONG LEADERSHIP.
------------------------------------------------------------

It was a reminder that what we do in Indiana matters far beyond our borders.

Honoring 100+ Years of Family Farming

At this year’s Indiana State Fair, several farms in our district received the Hoosier Homestead Award a milestone recognizing over 100 years of continuous family farming.

** Their commitment reflects the values that define rural Indiana: hard work, faith, and resilience.
------------------------------------------------------------

** It was a privilege to personally congratulate the Ferree, Jarvis-Cox, and Leisure families in Grant County and the Karst family in Huntington County.
------------------------------------------------------------

** Standing Up for Families and Conservative Principles
------------------------------------------------------------

** This year, I received a 100% rating from the Indiana Family Institute for my legislative work on key family-first issues. That includes:
------------------------------------------------------------
*
** Defending parental rights
------------------------------------------------------------
*
** Protecting fairness in women’s sports
------------------------------------------------------------
*
** Promoting transparency in local school board decisions.
------------------------------------------------------------

** Literacy Gains Show Reform Is Working
------------------------------------------------------------

** Indiana’s third-grade reading scores rose by 5% this year.
------------------------------------------------------------

** This is a direct result of the education reforms and targeted investments we’ve made. I’m proud to support policies that deliver real outcomes for students and families.
------------------------------------------------------------

** Looking Ahead
------------------------------------------------------------

** In the coming weeks, I’ll be meeting with folks across the district and preparing for the next legislative session. If you’d like to weigh in on the issues that matter most to you, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
------------------------------------------------------------

** Take a moment to complete this short survey and if you answer the trivia questions correctly, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card.
