Friends and Neighbors,
In years past and even since I was a kid, I've always looked forward to the Chelmsford 4th of July Parade. It has gotten more and more fun each year – especially when you’ve got a team like this behind you!
(This photo of our spectacular campaign volunteers at last year's parade brings back so many good memories!)
And while we won’t be able to celebrate as a grassroots team or gather our communities along parade routes this year, we can still celebrate in our own small ways.
Whether you’re grilling out in the backyard or calling up friends and family to check in on them over the holiday – it’s important we’re mindful about safety while enjoying the day.
So today I wish you a safe, happy, and fun 4th of July!
May we continue to work toward a country where life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are available to ALL of us.
A big “thank you” to all my friends in Chelmsford who make this event happen annually – can’t wait to pick up our celebrations again next year!
– Lori
