I don’t know about you, but I'm tired of the same old story from politicians. I’m tired of our elected officials getting absolutely nothing done to help families and small businesses.

Look at all the issues facing our community: from the tariffs wrecking our economy, the rising costs of healthcare, rent, groceries and childcare, the attacks on hard-working immigrants, and more.

And what has Republican Maria Salazar done in her 5 years in office? Well, she passed a bill about wading birds.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I care about wading birds too. Protecting our environment and building a better future for our kids is exactly why I’m running.

But c’mon — if that’s all Maria Salazar has delivered in five years, it’s pretty sad.

She’s either ineffective or she simply doesn’t care. Either way, all of us in Miami are stuck with rising costs, broken promises, and nothing getting better when it can.

I know things can change. With honest leadership and the right priorities, we can make life more affordable, protect our seniors and Medicare, tackle housing affordability and climate change, and keep our neighborhoods safe.

As your next Congressman, I’ll fight every day to bring those better days to Miami.
