Good morning Young Democrats,

Young Democrats across California are working hard to pass Proposition 50 to stop Donald Trump’s rigging of the 2026 Congressional midterm elections; we must pass Prop 50 to protect our democracy and stop extremist MAGA Republicans from unwinding a century of economic and social progress.

There are 2 things I need you to do TODAY:

1) Register to attend ([link removed]) an upcoming CYD action to support Prop 50; CYD hosts our first virtual phonebank tomorrow, Tuesday, September 30th at 6pm, and our first canvass this Sunday, Oct. 5th at 10am, both in Sacramento. 2) Register NOW for CYD’s State Leadership Committee (SLC) meeting October 24th - 26th ([link removed]) at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa (1 Old Golf Course Rd, Monterey, CA, 93940). The early registration rate expires after tomorrow, and we cannot extend this record low $5 registration price; get more details and register now for only $5 before early registration ends! At CYD’s Monterey meeting ([link removed]) , we will also take action to pass Prop 50 with a joint canvass of Monterey on Saturday morning. We will work to update and adopt CYD’s platform ([link removed]) . There will be a CYD Welcome Reception on Friday night, and Saturday we will host CYD and CCD business and caucus meetings.

PLEASE REGISTER NOW ([link removed]) to take advantage of the $5 early registration rate for the upcoming CYD State Leadership Committee meeting in Monterey, October 24 - 26, taking place in conjunction with the CADEM Executive Board meeting ([link removed]) .
