Friend,

This Fourth of July certainly feels different than years past. And while I wish we could commemorate America's birthday in-person, I know not all Americans may feel like celebrating.

While we celebrate the birth of our nation this year, we must remember that we are all created equal and entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We have work to do to fully realize this ideal.

The past months have served as an inspiring reminder of what we can do together, and I am especially proud to represent the many Granite States who have both spoken up and stood up for our values.

I hope you'll join me today in recommitting to the values of freedom, equality, and justice for all and celebrating the America that we strive to be.
