In August, three deadly landslides tore through Sudan, killing over 1,000 people.
Aid workers traveled miles by donkey to reach survivors – only to have deliveries of food, water and medicine blocked by ongoing conflict.
Now deep into the rainy season, children here face a growing wave of threats.
Violence. Exploitation. Displacement. Flooding. Natural disasters. Disease outbreaks.

Sudan’s children are living through one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises:
* 15.6 million kids need urgent humanitarian aid to survive
* 64% of the population is food insecure
* 3.2 million children under 5 are acutely malnourished
* 80% of hospitals are out of service
Food prices are soaring. Medical supplies are dwindling. Entire cities are under siege.
And kids are paying the highest price.
