Hey team –
Like other major tech companies, Apple puts profit over people, but its reputation allows it to avoid scrutiny. But Apple — along with Google — controls the entire app ecosystem, and with it, most of our tech: from the app store, to the apps themselves, to the devices.
And if you try to get around their rules, they’ll cut you out of their ecosystem completely, stifling innovation and competition. Their business model denies us privacy and safety while exploiting the global supply chain. Plus, the company uses its influence for political favors to block common-sense legislation.
We’re not fooled by flashy new products. It’s why we took to the streets to demand accountability from the tech giant, in the presence of Tim Cook himself.
On the day of Apple’s latest iPhone rollout, we led the charge, alongside the Log Off Movement and the Heat Initiative, to speak out and change the narrative about how the public perceives Apple, with clear demands:
-
Enable Fair, Competitive Ecosystems: Apple must empower customers with choice and cultivate innovation.
-
Ensure the App Store is Free of Exploitation: Apple must ensure that every app available to children and teenagers meets safety, privacy, and age-appropriateness standards.
-
Stop Exploiting Children to Make Apple Products: Apple must guarantee that no child is exploited in its global supply chain.
-
Stop Funding Obstructive Trade Organizations: Apple must cease funding trade organizations that obstruct the passage of legislation aimed at protecting kids' safety and privacy.

You can help us continue mobilizing against Big Tech companies like Apple by donating today. We aren’t just calling out Apple because they’ve got power. We’re fighting back against their toxic business model because we deserve better, safer options.
In solidarity,
