Condemning Political Violence

On Wednesday morning, the Dallas ICE facility was once again the target of political violence, just one month after receiving a bomb threat on August 25, 2025. This marks the third attack on ICE and CBP agents in Texas this year. My prayers are with the victims, their families, and the brave officers who responded to this tragedy. Violence against law enforcement has no place in our country, and I will continue to fight for the safety and security of those who protect our communities. That is why I was proud to join my colleagues on a resolution ensuring Congress stands firmly with our ICE agents on the front lines.

Full text of the resolution can be found here.

Reducing Quarterly SEC Reporting Requirements

Reducing quarterly SEC reporting requirements means less paperwork and more time focused on building businesses and creating jobs. Entrepreneurs and small business owners are the backbone of our economy, and cutting unnecessary red tape allows them to invest in their employees, grow their businesses, and strengthen our communities.

Letter to UN Ambassador regarding Gaza Famine Rhetoric

On Tuesday, I sent a letter to Mike Waltz, Ambassador of the United States Mission to the United Nations, expressing deep concern about the U.N.’s rhetoric surrounding the famine in Gaza. The United Nations must not legitimize terrorism under the guise of humanitarianism. America must stand firmly with Israel and call out Hamas for diverting aid and exploiting civilian suffering.

Awarded Gerald Flinn a Prisoner of War Medal

Gerald Flinn endured unimaginable trials as a Prisoner of War, held captive for 26 months in German encampments during World War II. It was my honor to ensure his courage and sacrifice were finally recognized with this long-overdue POW medal. Heroes like Gerald Flinn remind us that freedom is never free, and we must always remember those who gave so much for our nation.

Washington Reporter recently published an interview following a House Committee on Small Business hearing I led. In it, creators testified before Congress about the challenges they face in the digital economy. I emphasized that creators are the new generation of entrepreneurs, building companies, supporting jobs, and innovating across every sector. Read the full article here.

On Friday, Fox News covered the House Resolution that I co-led with my colleagues, Reps. Russell Fry (SC-07), Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11), and Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-17), pressing Congress to condemn the recent heinous targeted attacks against ICE officers during the Dallas ICE facility shooting. We must send a clear message that violence against our officers will not be tolerated and support the dedication of those who serve to enforce our laws. Read the full article here.
