John,

Planned Parenthood is so afraid of people talking about its core product that it tries to deemphasize abortion as only 3% of its services.

But your peaceful witness starts a conversation that exposes abortion and transforms both individuals and entire communities.

When Rebecca sported her 40 Days for Life jacket out to the store, the clerk asked her what 40 Days for Life means. "For a split second I paused, discerning what the reaction might be," she said.

Rebecca's answer elicited a series of questions from the clerk--including how Rebecca would respond to a woman who had an abortion.

"I saw tears welling up in her eyes," Rebecca recalled. "I quietly asked if she'd had an abortion, and she nodded. I took her hands in mine, looked her in the eyes and told her that God loves her, and there is healing available."

The more people talk about abortion, the more they learn about abortion...and the more people learn about abortion, the more they REJECT abortion.

"So thank you for the 40 Days for Life gear that we can wear in our communities," Rebecca continued. "It gives us an opportunity to be open to a conversation no matter where we are."

Lafayette, Indiana

Planned Parenthood loves to set up shop in a university town.

When an abortion provider reels in a college age-customer, it can sell that young adult abortions, birth control, and even transgender services for decades.

So our director of medical affairs and education and former abortion provider Dr. Haywood Robinson recently went to the Hoosier State to headline a 40 Days for Life rally just miles away from Purdue University.

"There was a diverse group of attendees, including three students from Purdue and five nuns," Haywood said. "One of the students spoke, encouraging seasoned pro-lifers to engage early with young people and to speak truth about abortion and the sanctity of human life."

Students like this are EXACTLY why a 40 Days for Life donor funds the 4040 Scholarship, which honors a college student making an impact for life on campus.

The winner will receive a $4,040 college scholarship PLUS a trip (with a parent) to receive the award on stage at the Walk for Life West Coast in January.

St. Johnsbury, Vermont

The St. Johnsbury Planned Parenthood went out of business in deep-blue Vermont earlier this year after just ONE 40 Days for Life vigil.

But the fact that the facility has been closed for months didn't make it any less exciting when a "for sale" sign recently appeared on Planned Parenthood's property!

If God can close an abortion business in Vermont, there's no reason he won't close one where you live. Sign up to pray by visiting 40daysforlife.com/locations.

All who heard these things took them to heart, saying, "What, then, will this child be?" For surely the hand of the Lord was with him.

--Luke 1:66

Lord, instill confidence and hope in every child. Help all children to grow up to see the purpose for which you made them. Give parents the wisdom and understanding to see the needs of each child and to nurture each child’s talents for your glory alone.

For life,
