Independence Day takes on special meaning this year. Our nation faces numerous challenges, from a global pandemic to a national reckoning with racial injustice. Still, Americans will come together to celebrate the ideals embodied in our Declaration of Independence with the knowledge that, while we are many people, we are all one nation.
