Hey Everyone,
Thank you for all your resistance efforts this past week! We have a lot going on this October, and we hope you will join us for our Member Meeting on October 12th and the No Kings rally on October 18th. The No Kings rally in June was one of the largest days of protest in this nation ever. Our goal is to make this No Kings rally even bigger! Read on for more details and an important request for volunteers.
📢Volunteers Needed!
As we prepare for the NO KINGS rally on October 18, we need volunteers to serve as peacekeepers during the event. BGAA has been asked by our coalition partner, Peaceful Bluegrass Resistance, to provide at least five (5) volunteers for this important role.
Peacekeepers will:
* Help direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic along the march route
* Answer questions from attendees
* Watch for and report any potential issues to rally organizers
Peacekeepers will be provided with high-visibility vests and walkie-talkies. Because the rally will include a one-mile march through downtown Lexington, these volunteers will be vital to keeping everyone safe and on track.
Please respond by October 4, 2025, so we can coordinate training and communication ahead of the rally. You can contact us by responding to this email.
Thank you for stepping up to help keep our movement strong, safe, and united!
Mark your calendars for our next two events!
