I don’t know about you, but it seems like just about every day brings a new disturbing headline from the Trump administration.
They threatened Maine’s public education funding.
They passed their so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” which is impacting thousands of Mainers’ health care and rural hospitals.
Now, they’re targeting free speech. And just this week, while speaking to the UN, Trump called climate change the “greatest con job,” embarrassing us on the global stage.
It’s frightening.
Here’s what I know, though. Democratic governors will be a crucial stopgap during these next three years. And as someone with a track record of taking on the hard fights and winning, I’ll be on the frontlines standing up for you.
