This is important. We're all in this together.

Hi John,

If you've been following us on socials, you know that members and allies from across the valley this month continue to push back on the harms of the current administration, build community ties through mutual aid, and imagine what better systems and solutions might look like.

Whether you're brand new to activism or a seasoned veteran, we have opportunities to get plugged in and make a difference in your community!

Nonviolent Direct Action Training | TUESDAY, September 30th

"Nonviolence is the science of how you create a world that practices justice, truth, and compassion." - Reverend James M. Lawson

This interactive session equips participants with the principles and practical tools of non-violent direct action. Rooted in a rich history of social change, the training will cover strategy, group dynamics, creative protest methods, and how to stay grounded and safe during action.

A number of members are attending this training and then grabbing drinks afterwards. Message Morningstar over Signal to be added to the group chat that's coordinating carpools and post-training drinks.

RSVP for the Training!

Tempe Parks Ordinance Public Input Meetings

The City of Tempe has released dates for public input on the Parks Ordinance, and dates when the survey will be available.

We urge all members who live in the City of Tempe to take part in the public input process on a new ordinance. We know many community members may be deeply impacted by the outcome of this process, and we want to make sure our voices are heard!

Mark your calendar for these dates and keep an eye on Tempe's website for more info!
