Before Tuesday's end-of-quarter deadline, I want to be fully transparent about what's going on in Colorado's race for governor.

Now that we've got a serious Trump-aligned Republican opponent, we need to start preparing for trouble from the national GOP. Outside groups will soon start directing their dark money to flood the state's airwaves, and far-right political operatives will be watching to judge how strong our grassroots team really is.

That's why Tuesday is so important. After 11:59 p.m. that night, we'll close our books and report our fundraising numbers from the past three months to the Colorado Secretary of State. And soon after that, they'll go public for the world – including major GOP donors – to see.

So to close out this quarter strong, we've set a $100,000 goal: not just to prove we've got what it takes to win, but also to fund the crucial work ahead of us. And we can't reach it without the support of folks like you – one $5 donation at a time.

* Recruit and train volunteers to reach voters in every county across the state


* Build our digital and rapid response teams to counter GOP misinformation


* Keep Michael's message front and center: rebuilding Colorado's middle class, providing a vision for the country on how to best resist Trump and making Colorado the best state to live, work and raise a family


At his core, Michael believes that we have a responsibility to build opportunity for one another and the next generation.

It's what led his work in Washington, D.C., as Colorado's U.S. senator, and it's why he's running to help build a brighter future for Colorado here at home. 

But turning those values into meaningful solutions for Coloradans will first require winning this race – and to make that happen, we need every single member of this grassroots team to step up to the plate ahead of our biggest quarterly fundraising deadline yet on Tuesday.
