I am writing to ask if there is anything — anything at all — that I can say to convince you to make a contribution before Tuesday’s end-of-quarter fundraising deadline.
What if I told you that we’re facing some of the steepest stakes, such as House Democrats being in power to serve as a check on President Trump?
What if I told you that Democrats have a plan to win enough seats in the U.S. House to take back our majority and stop Trump’s attacks — we just need the resources?
What if I told you that after the Tuesday deadline, our fundraising numbers will be made public, and everyone will be judging them?
I want to be honest with you: We’re a bit behind where we need to be right now. But with a good push over the next couple of days, I think we can make some strong progress.
