[link removed] [[link removed]] With just weeks to go until Election Day, Mikie is virtually tied with her far-right opponent, and his allies have unleashed a barrage of attacks our way. Today, we need your help to fight back.

With an end-of-quarter fundraising deadline just around the corner, we’re asking you to pitch in $5 to power our campaign to victory. [[link removed]] But if you’re not sure (which we understand!), here are five reasons we hope will convince you:

1) This race is a pure toss-up in an incredibly competitive state. New Jersey is not the safe Democratic state it once was. The last governor’s election here? It was decided by 3%. New Jersey’s margin in the 2024 presidential election? 6%. The latest independent polling in this race? It shows Mikie deadlocked with her MAGA opponent — 43% to 43%.

2) Donald Trump is going to do everything he can to defeat us. He’s endorsed our opponent, Jack Ciattarelli, and just went on an unhinged rant against Mikie on social media. And just this week, we learned his administration illegally leaked Mikie’s private military records to Jack’s team.

3) Unlike her opponent, Mikie won’t ever hesitate to stand up to Trump when he attacks New Jersey families. Mikie swore an oath to the Constitution, and spent her career honoring it every single day — before loyalty to any other politician or political party. Ciattarelli has already made clear that his number-one priority is standing alongside Trump’s abuses of power and attacks on democracy.

4) Mikie’s top priority as governor will be making life more affordable for New Jersey families. She’s put forward detailed plans [[link removed]] for lowering the cost of everything from housing and energy to health care, child care, and groceries — and she’s going to hit the ground running on Day 1 making them a reality.

5) The stakes of this race are high not only for New Jersey, but for the country. New Jersey is setting the tone for 2026, 2028, and beyond. By embracing politics that puts New Jerseyans first — not a president, not a party — we start a better path forward for our country, where we prioritize doing what’s best for working families over what’s best for billionaires and corrupt political allies.
