My name is Tiernan Donohue, and I'm excited to introduce myself as the new chief campaigns officer here at EMILYs List.
I'll be leading the strategy that helps elect more Democratic pro-choice women up and down the ballot. From state legislatures to U.S. House seats, every race matters — and every victory builds the foundation for a better future.
I'm stepping into this role at a daunting — and pivotal — time. Right now, Republicans at all levels of office are relentlessly attacking our fundamental rights, and we’re faced with the question of how to effectively mobilize to meet this moment.
For me, the answer has always been EMILYs List. (I started my career here as an intern years ago!) We're the only organization that does the full scope of this work: we recruit and train candidates, help them run competitive campaigns, and invest early so they have the resources they need to win.
All across the country, women are stepping up to run for office at a level I haven't seen since 2018. Democratic pro-choice women are fired up and ready to take back power, and EMILYs List will be with them every step of the way.
You'll be hearing from me more as the cycle progresses, but for now, I hope we can count on your support as we approach Election Day 2025.
