This fall, Mark Carney and our new Liberal government are hitting the ground running with a relentless focus to get big things done for Canadians.
As we return to Parliament with your priorities, I’m also reflecting on a personal milestone this fall: 25 years since I was first elected to represent the people of Beauséjour and serve Canadians as a Member of Parliament.
And while much has changed over that time, my mission has remained the same: to work together to continue building what is the greatest country in the world.
Today, that work takes shape in the results we’re delivering for Canadians, whether it’s a middle class tax cut saving a two-income family up to $840 a year, launching Build Canada Homes to supercharge housing construction, raising wages for Canadian Armed Forces members, or building the major projects that will connect our communities and unleash our country’s full potential.
And this is just the beginning. Now we need to work together to keep delivering for Canadians.
Our end-of-Q3 fundraising deadline is tomorrow, and we’ve set an ambitious goal that will help our team stay strong through the fall.
