Let me tell you about why I’m endorsing Robert Peters to represent IL-02 in Congress.
Robert is a fighter. He spent years organizing in his community to expand voting access and defend working families.
Then, as a state senator, he passed bills to protect everyone from the unjustly incarcerated, to workers, to women and the LGBTQ+ community.
He is exactly the kind of progressive fighter we need in Congress to take on Trump’s disastrous agenda.
However, Robert is currently facing a major end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. This is when all campaigns are required to disclose the amount of money they have raised and the number of supporters they have. If we fall short, we risk losing the momentum needed to power Robert’s grassroots campaign forward. Everyone will be watching these numbers closely to see if he has what it takes to win.
