This year, the Trump Regime and their Republican allies have relentlessly attacked our freedom to vote. They’ve spread dangerous disinformation about elections. Georgia Republicans launched a purge of nearly half a million voter registrations. Texas Republicans gerrymandered the state to steal five Congressional seats. And on the Hill, Republicans are still trying to pass the SAVE Act — a voter suppression bill that could disenfranchise tens of millions by imposing a modern-day poll tax.

Our response has to be equally relentless. We have to keep responding to threats like Georgia’s recent voter purge by making sure people have the facts about how they can protect their vote. We have to keep organizing alongside partners throughout the South as our region continues to be a hotbed of voter suppression. We have to keep electing voting rights champions to state, local, and federal offices with power over our elections.
