Last month didn’t end the way we had hoped: we narrowly missed our fundraising goal – which means this month, we’re playing catch up before our end-of-quarter filing deadline.

Falling short would be concerning for any campaign under any circumstances – but right now, for ours, it's particularly bad news. You see, right-wing conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer has been attacking Senator Warner with a barrage of dangerous lies online.
These weren’t just some unhinged tweets. She called for Mark to be “removed from office.” She said he should be “tried for treason.” She pushed the Trump administration to cancel his meeting with intelligence officials – and they caved.
As if that weren't enough, Donald Trump then went on television in the Oval Office to smear Mark’s record for Virginia, saying he’s "among the worst” Democrats.
That’s the kind of pressure we’re up against.
So when our numbers go public at the end of the month, we need to be ready for our fundraising reports to be scrutinized by Laura Loomer, Donald Trump, and all their special interest allies that want to take down Senator Warner as he stands up and speaks out against Trump’s reckless, dangerous administration.
We need to prove we have the strength – and the grassroots support – to fight back against any attack they throw our way.
