When Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans unveiled their brazen scheme to rig Congress in their favor, Gov. Gavin Newsom didn’t hesitate. He fought back — and now Proposition 50 is on the ballot as our firewall.

That fight comes to its biggest challenge yet in just 72 hours when the only FEC End-of-Quarter filing deadline of this special election closes. Every dollar we raise before then will be reported publicly. The press, MAGA Republicans, and Donald Trump himself will look to see if California Democrats are rising to the challenge.

We’ve already made incredible progress:

But our grassroots campaigns run on tight budgets and we didn’t plan on having a major ballot initiative campaign in 2025.
